Make sure the ignition is off before installing the Hardwire Kit. Carefully utilize the tool to test and check the polarity and grounding before confirming the installation. For safety reasons, we strongly recommend that you do not use any fuse slot used by any of your vehicle's critical components, such as the Air Bags. How to set cut-off voltage protection ①Long press any button on the hardwire kit for 3 seconds, and the LED display on it will light up. ②Press the buttons +/- on the hardwire kit to set a cut-off voltage.We recommend setting the cut-off voltage to 11.8V. ③After setting a desired cut-off voltage, please wait until the LED display flashes three times. The setting is finished. When the voltage gets lower than the cut-off value, the hardwire kit will stop the power output after 1 minute. Adjustable Low Voltage Protection Unlike other brands with fixed low voltage protection, Veement Hardwire kit can adjust the low voltage protection value in 0.1 units, and the LED display makes it easy to read the value.The Hardwire Kit will automatically shut off the power when the voltage is lower than setted cut-off voltage. Automatic Engine Detection Equipped with a 3-in-1 cable, it can automatically detect the status of the engine and enable the dash cam to record without manual setting.The Yellow Wire (BAT) is connected to the constant fuse slot which is in fuse box,will supply power even if the engine is turned off.The Red Wire is connected to the positive terminal of the ACC Fuse Slot in the Fuse Box,it only has power when the ignition is on.The Black Wire 24 Hours Parking Surveillance Please ensure the hardwire kit is connected correctly.And go to the menu of dash cam, choose Setting>Parking Guard>ON.Then when the car turns off, the dash cam will enter parking monitor mode. Go to Setting>Time-lapse>ON.After enabling this option,every 30 min of videos will be compressed to 1 min and the be saved in the memory card.
